ABOUT KINETIC NETWORK

Who We Are

The annual Life in the Spirit conference has been running since 1979 and has blessed many who have attended and listened to its recordings. This conference is run by a group of church leaders who, over the years have grown into a relational network. As the term suggests, a relational network allows the basis of relationship rather than formal structure, to be the means by which we relate to one another as leaders and churches.

In recent years the conference has grown in size and impact. Furthermore, other ministries and initiatives have been started. Therefore, to further facilitate all that God is doing in us and through us and in response to His prophetic call, we adopted the name Kinetic Network in 2018.

Kinetic Network is a relational network of leaders and churches committed to the transformation of individuals, churches, society, and nations through the Spirit and the Word.

Together we

Recognise

– the call for leaders and churches who share our values to pursue God and his purposes together

Resource

– through the annual Life in the Spirit Conference, Pastors and Senior Leader’s clusters, training days and the NGI trainee programme.

– by making ourselves and our gifts available for the strengthening of other leaders and churches

– by facilitating where requested, mentoring, accountability and apostolic relationships

– by helping in the placement of like-minded and gifted individuals into church leadership and wider ministry

– where possible, by financial giving in order to support the practical and financial needs of the network

Release

– one another to work both inside and outside the network in order to see transformation of individuals, churches, society, and nations through the Spirit and the Word

Relate

– to one another through friendship, conferences, events, mentoring, accountability and apostolic relationships that have been established among us

– to other groupings and networks with similar values

Our Core Values

TRANSFORMATION

Of individuals, churches, society, and nations through the Spirit and the Word.

THE SPIRIT

An encounter with God and using spiritual gifts in accountable relationships.

THE WORD

The inspired Bible, the Gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ, and Reformed theology.

Statement of Evangelical Faith

GOD

is the only true God who lives eternally in three distinct but equal persons, the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. In his love and power he created all things for his glory and continues to sustain and rule over them.

GOD THE FATHER

hears and answers the prayers of those who call upon him, saving and bringing into relationship those who come to him in the name of his son, Jesus. He is faithful to every promise he has made.

THE LORD JESUS CHRIST

is God the Son incarnate, fully God and fully man, conceived of the Holy Spirit, born of a virgin, sinless in birth and life, dying on the cross as a sacrifice in our place, bearing God’s punishment for our sin, defeating evil, and reconciling us to God. He rose bodily from the dead and ascended into heaven where he reigns as Saviour and Lord.

THE HOLY SPIRIT

is fully God, equal with the Father and Son. He glorifies Jesus, convicts sinners, gives spiritual life through new birth, gives understanding of the Bible, indwells all believers, gives assurance, produces likeness to Christ, brings a God’s tangible presence, continues to give signs and wonders, distributes all the biblical gifts of the Spirit, empowers individuals and churches for mission.

THE BIBLE

is the revelation of God, every word inspired without error in the original writings which are Old (39 books) and New (27 books) Testaments, alone having final authority for Christian faith and life.

SALVATION

is by God’s unconditional election, accomplished by Christ’s death and resurrection, offered to all in the gospel, applied to the elect by the Holy Spirit so that we are justified by grace alone, through faith alone, in Christ alone, giving forgiveness of sins, granting eternal life, uniting us with Jesus, adopting us into God’s family, ensuring the preservation of all true believers.

THE HUMAN RACE

is created in God’s image, both men and women equal yet distinct, so that each individual has inherent and equal dignity and value, whose highest purpose is to obey, worship, love and enjoy God forever. However, every aspect of the human nature has been corrupted by sin so that all are without spiritual life, guilty sinners and enemies of God until redeemed. God created men and women to only have sexual relationships within heterosexual marriage.

THE CHURCH

is the body of which Jesus is the head, his bride, a universal church to which all who are saved belong, expressed as local churches committed to worship, Bible-teaching, fellowship, prayer, baptism, the Lord’s Supper, pastoral care, godly leaders, discipline, mission.

THE GOSPEL

is to be shared with all the world so that God’s kingdom may come for the transformation of individuals, churches, society, and nations.

SATAN

is the leader of the demons who oppose God’s kingdom in various ways. They are a defeated force who can be overcome in the name of Jesus with prayer. His final doom is guaranteed.

THE FUTURE

is glorious and guaranteed for all believers since the Lord Christ Jesus Christ will return to raise the dead, judge the world in righteousness, send the lost into an eternal punishment of being separated from God forever, consummate the salvation of his people, give them eternal joy in a new heaven and a new earth.

KINETIC NETWORK CONFERENCES

Come along to any of conferences and you will not only get great worship, teaching and ministry but you will also make friends and have access to support, teaching and friendships from our national network of members and also from other churches near to you.

Churches and leaders help one another with teaching, preaching, mentoring, training, leaders’ days, accountability, support, friendship and prayer. This is especially valuable for churches and leaders who are not part of larger denominations, spheres or movements.

If you can’t make it to one of our conferences but would like to be in touch with other Kinetic Network churches and leaders do feel free to contact us.
